My Bio
Hi, I am Laura, and I love drawing and photography. I recently graduated from the fine art : visual art program at my local community college. I loved it!! From my classes to my teachers. I do wish to continue my education focusing on photography, but that may change. I upload things often in clumps, sporadically. i am generally a fun person, and I like gas masks. :)

Thanks for the watch too :>
Thanks for the favorite.
you're welcome :) Your work is lovely. Some are a tad over saturated, but certain ones it works, and gives it a really nice painterly color to it. I saw a few that were rather grainy and it took away from the photo. Just be careful when sharpening & saturating. If it's intentional take it all the way. But a tip I learned in school, a good photo doesn't need too much editing ;) And a lot of yours are indeed phenomenal!  I personally do love the over saturated look in most of your photos. :) ^_^
well often I think it depends on what I'm shooting, if it's a garden or such, the vibrance of the flowers really helps, and such, it can be tricky finding a balance.

As for sharpness, that itself can be tricky, not enough and the image might be too blurry, and too much it isn't any good, though I do love how the right image with high sharpness has a almost paintingisc texture to it.  Like this one, kind of reminds me of a gold leaf painting, wolfwings1.deviantart.com/art/... , or this one the combination of sharpness, high digital zoom, large distance + a ton of heat haze creates a sort of sureal painting look. wolfwings1.deviantart.com/art/...
Both do create indeed a lovely feel to them. You've created your own style, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all. I do Especially love Drifting Past Firestorm. That has one of the stronger painterly feels to it. It is extremely hard to find a balance. You do it very well, with your landscapes especially. This one, wolfwings1.deviantart.com/art/..., stood out to me as well. The colors are beautiful, and it reminded me of myown work: acrazycookie4.deviantart.com/a... As well as Drifting Past Firestorm, the color in your landscapes are very unique.
One thing, it's a personal preference for me, on one of the sailboat ones, your black starts going orange-gray. A crisp black makes the image stronger. However the contrast is fantastic. I am drawn to high contrast images anyway. v(^_^)v   Also, your Black, white and red series is really lovely. :)
